Ms. Marvel, a newer character to Marvel comics has grabbed the world’s imagination. Ms. Marvel is an upcoming series based on the Marvel Comics superheroine of the same name. Recently. the filmmaker released a new set of photographs, confirming the series’ reshoots and plans to release Ms. Marvel on Disney+ later this year.
With the release of fresh set photographs, Ms. Marvel director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy confirmed reshoots for the upcoming Disney+ series. According to Screenrant, Filming on Ms. Marvel wrapped last year. The series was set to debut in 2022 on the respective streaming platform. On social media earlier this year, there were rumors about reshoots and a Disney+ series delay, but nothing was verified.
Ms. Marvel director Obaid-Chinoy shared set photographs from the Disney+ series on her Instagram stories, indicating that the reshoots are taking place in Atlanta, Georgia. Obaid-Chinoy also uploaded photographs showing the director’s chair on set, confirming that the series is undergoing reshoots. One of the set photos shows a telescopic handler assisting in elevating the infrastructure for filming, with the comment “playtime.”
Many fans were disappointed by the apparent modifications to Kamala’s heroic abilities, which included the removal of her elasticity, shapeshifting, and size-altering talents since the teaser announcement and first glimpse at the new hero in the MCU.
