Cardi B established herself as one of the best female rappers in the Hip Hop world and her music has reached people all over the globe. She is also likely to hit back at anyone claiming that she got pregnant to promote a record. It seems she was thanked for a good deed recently as well.
Cardi B also gave birth to her second child earlier last year. Due to this, she requested the judge to postpone the trial over her ‘Gangsta Bitch’ cover art, which she was sued over nearly 4 years ago.
According to TMZ, Cardi B letting others know about the death of Lauren Smith-Fields helped begin a criminal investigation in Connecticut. Smith-Fields’ family attorney Darnell Crosland said that Cardi B was instrumental in getting Lauren’s tragic death to become a criminal case.
This is because police only began an investigation after Cardi B spoke about it. 23-year-old Lauren died while she was on a date back in December last year. She went out with a man she met on a dating app. The medical examiner announced recently that Lauren died from an accidental drug overdose, which was questionable.
The family’s attorney stated that Cardi B’s Sunday night tweet about Lauren’s death brought a lot of extra attention as the case made a lot of progress thanks to her. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
