Drakeo was one of the most unique West Coast spitters in decades. On 19th December Drakeo was murdered backstage. Recently, Drakeo the Ruler’s family revealed plans to sue Once Upon a Time in LA festival organizers for $20 million for wrongful death.
Attorneys for Drakeo the Ruler’s family have revealed preparations to bring a wrongful death lawsuit against the organizers of the tragic Once Upon a Time in LA music festival. Their attorney stated they would be suing the organizers including Live Nation, who hosted Travis Scott’s catastrophic Astroworld festival for ‘at least’ $20 million in a press appearance with family on Thursday.
Lawyers presented a video from the night of the stabbing at the start of the conference to imply that the rapper wasn’t properly safeguarded by the organizers’ security. The attorney said that the footage showed Drakeo the Ruler being lynched by a crowd of ‘around 40 to 60 individuals.’
‘You didn’t see one security officer there.”
According to the attorney, members of the ‘Bloods and Crips’ gangs were also allegedly present at the festival. They also expressed hope that the district attorney will hold those guilty for Drakeo’s death ‘accountable.’ The attorney conclude that the killing was a ‘preventable death.”
“This should have never happened if those promoters had the proper security protocol.”
However, a month after the jury was deadlocked on those counts, the district attorney re-filed charges of criminal gang conspiracy and shooting from a motor vehicle. Now let us wait that will be the call of the court. For further updates of Drakeo’s murder trial, stay tuned to Thirsty.
