Foolio is an emerging drill rapper from the Jacksonville scene. If you know anything about that area of the globe, it’s pretty violent. The opposition is always after Foolio and he is aware of that. Foolio and his brothers can handle themselves in a lot of those instances in case something pops off.
While speaking to Off The Record with DJ Akademiks, Foolio opened up a bit about his security detail. It is pretty much a priority if he’s going to the club or a show, but security is not around the Jacksonville rapper at all times.
I move like like, I ain’t gonna cap, if I ain’t going to some club or something, it’s just me and my brothers. But if I move with security sometimes when I’m going to a show, for sure. If I’m just coming into the city to shop, then I’m just gonna come with me and my brothers.
Foolio said that you never know how someone is going to react when there is a shooting. It takes a special type of human to handle a gig like Foolio’s security detail. Obviously, Foolio primarily rolls with people he trust most.
DJ Akademiks also pointed out that Foolio didn’t come to his show with any security. That being said, they also made it clear at the beginning of the interview that any Instagram posting or location giving has to wait until Foolio is no longer there. He might travel light with his brothers, but Foolio still has mad opps around.
