Kanye West has proven himself to be a true genius when it comes to being a businessman and also as an artist. It is hard to argue with that fact as West has proven time and time again why he is one of the best ever. It seems Kanye West has an interesting plan for his next fashion show.
According to TMZ, Kanye West has an interesting way to address the homeless crisis in Los Angeles. Kanye is working with streetwear brand Skid Row Fashion Week on a new collab and fashion show, with the main objective being to help the homeless.
David Sabastian, the founder of Skid Row Fashion Week stated that he met with Kanye earlier this month while the rapper was recording ‘Donda 2’ at his studio in L.A.’s Arts District. They then decide to create a Yeezy X Skid Row Fashion Week clothing collab.
David added that his company donates a portion of all sales to helping those living on Skid Row and the factory that makes the clothes gives jobs to the homeless. The Yeezy collab will use 100% of the proceeds to help the homeless on Skid Row.
The fashion line will be releasing on February 22nd and it was said that all the earnings from the sale will help hire more people struggling with homelessness to work at the Skid Row Fashion Week factory. Kanye West is more than determined to solve the homeless crisis and we will have to see whether it will be fruitful or not.
