Kelly Clarkson has become one of the most successful entertainers in the United States. After capturing the imagination of television viewers on American Idol, Clarkson has gone on to fame as a talk show host and coach on the hit reality singing competition “The Voice.” Kelly unfortunately has been going through a long divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock.
The split became legally official in late 2021. Several deals have already been made between the couple. There are still plenty of assets to settle. Kelly is working hard to make sure she protects her interests in the divorce proceedings.
A report in Us Magazine stated that Kelly Clarkson will not entertain a settlement with Blackstock in the ongoing divorce. A source said all of Kelly’s free time is going towards the legal battle. If Clarkson’s not working, she’s meeting with her attorney.
“She is devoting 100 percent of any free time she has preparing for the trial. When not filming her talk show, she is hunkered down with [attorney] Laura Wasser.
She will not even entertain the idea of settling with Brandon. He will not get one penny from her that isn’t ordered by the judge. It’s going to be nasty.”
Kelly Clarkson is doing what she can to keep her ex from getting anything from her. It’s becoming a full-time job for the “Since U Been Gone” singer. Clarkson is hoping the courts take her side when the dust settles.
