Kwame Brown Slams Dwyane Wade Over His Daughter’s Kobe Bryant Fashion Tribute

Kwame Brown was a massive player who spent 12 years in the NBA. Today, the former footballer has made the news for reasons unrelated to sport. Kwame Brown recently slammed Dwyane Wade for his daughter’s Kobe outfit.

Brown was furious with Dwyane Wade’s daughter’s Kobe Bryant fashion tribute, calling her #8 jersey outfit “disrespectful” to the Lakers great. Zaya Wade wore the costume and captioned the image in honor of the Bryant in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“Always remembering and honoring Kobe and Gianna.”

Kwame claimed that Kobe’s wife, Vanessa, and children would not honor him in the same manner that Zaya did.

“You are letting your woman control your house.”

“I’m not saying there’s anything against homosexuals, but [Kobe] is a heterosexual man. Why is he being honored by making his jersey into a dress? Wear his goddamn jersey for the day to honor him without the dress part.”

“Let’s please not show our Black brother in this light. This is no offense to nobody else. This man was a heterosexual man with a wife and a family. There’s no reason for this to be tied to Kobe Bryant. None whatsoever.”

D-Wade has been nothing but supportive of Zaya. D-wade spoke out about how the family’s understanding has developed over time.

Brown’s diatribe has no bearing on Dwyane Wade, who declared himself a proud “girl dad” in the comments of Zaya’s article. Dwyane is a proud father and he is not ashamed of her daughter’s outfit. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
