Man Demands To Meet Taylor Swift After Crashing Car Into Her Home

Taylor Swift has evolved from a teenage pop country singer to a music icon. The Wyomissing, PA native has explored several new musical sides over the course of the past few years. Swift is one of the most recognizable entertainers on the planet.

With that level of fame comes major security concerns. Kylie Jenner recently dealt with a stalker who repeatedly showed up at her home. The man was trying to make a marriage proposal to the celebrity despite having never met her.

Taylor Swift recently had a similar scary incident. TMZ reported that a man was arrested on Thursday morning for crashing his car into the building that houses the Fearless singer’s New York City residence. The alleged stalker told police he wasn’t leaving until he met Taylor.

The driver was busted by the cops after driving the wrong way down Taylor Swift’s street. The car then slammed into reverse. The vehicle struck the building and a nearby fire hydrant.

The man got out of the car and tried to rip the intercom out of the wall. The offender was mumbling about Taylor Swift the entire time. Someone called 911 and NYPD took the man into custody.

The stalker was transported to a nearby hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. Police say he will likely be charged with DWI and criminal mischief. It is not known if Taylor Swift was home at the time, but it appears no one was hurt.
