50 Cent has undoubtedly established himself as a legend in the world of rap. However, over the past few years, 50 Cent’s music took a backseat to make room for his television production endeavors. Now, Fif is back to making music but this album might be his last.
50 cent emerged as a successful television producer with TV series like BMF. But before that happened he was a well-known name in hip-hop. While discussing the upcoming Power series on The Talk, 50 Cent also touched on his future music endeavors, confirming that his next album will be his last ever.
“I probably think I’ll deliver one more full length album, then the other things I do will be connected to film and television.” 50 cent mentioned. I’m having so much success in this area that I have opportunities to keep releasing music through the projects that I’m bringing.” He does have a point, his shows Power and BMF have gained massive popularity.
Although Fif plans to close out his career as an artist after his next album, he will still release music through his shows on soundtracks. He previously worked on the theme song for Power, Book IV: Force in early January with Lil Durk and Jeremih.
Last month he posted on Instagram that he was a Top 10 rapper of all time. In the same post, 50 also lamented at the fact that nobody considers him their favorite, despite his illustrious career. It will surely be amazing to hear his much hyped final album, considering he has not put one out since 2014.
