The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Erika Jayne announced in November 2020 that she and the powerhouse attorney had called it quits after 21 years of marriage. Erika and Tom had an unconventional marriage, spending a lot of time apart.
Erika filed for divorce in November 2020 after 21 years of marriage. Girardi was also accused of misusing the funds of several of his clients in the lawsuit. After claiming that she had previous information that Girardi’s firm had funded her expenses for nearly 12 years, the trustee implicated the “Roller Coaster” vocalist in the legal battle.
Complaints against estranged wife Erika Jayne have been disbanded, according to Us Weekly, amid Tom Girardi’s ongoing fraud and embezzlement legal difficulties. Us Weekly obtained the court documents from the Northern District of Illinois on Saturday, January 29.
Pursuant to stipulation, plaintiff’s claims against defendants EJ Global LLC and Erika Girardi are dismissed without prejudice and without costs.
The former attorney, 82, and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 50, were previously implicated in a fraud and embezzlement lawsuit. The separated couple were accused of embezzling $2 million in settlement monies from the families of Lion Air Flight 610 disaster victims in a lawsuit filed in December 2020.
The Pretty Mess author made headlines earlier this week when it was reported that she may be compelled to forfeit a set of $750,000 earrings that Girardi bought for her with funds that did not belong to him.
The gems were purportedly in a safe, despite the fact that the Colorado native claimed they were stolen from their home. She had “agreed to old and not transfer or sell the earrings” ahead of the trustee’s investigation and February 15 hearing, according to court documents from earlier this week.
