Halo is an upcoming military science fiction television series based on the video game franchise of the same name. Halo is developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane for the streaming service Paramount+. During the AFC Championship, the release date of the TV series was revealed.
The first full-length trailer for the upcoming Halo television series “Halo” was released by Paramount+. During halftime of the Cincinnati Bengals’ 27-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the popular video game franchise of the same name was mentioned. Master Chief, the series’ protagonist, is seen in action in new footage.
The clip begins with the Covenant attacking a settlement and introduces the audience to Chief and his fellow Spartans. The Master Chief is played by Pablo Schreiber, Dr. Halsey is played by Natascha McElhone, and Cortana is played by Jen Taylor, who also voices Cortana in the video game franchise.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Schreiber recently explored the distinctions between the TV show and the video game franchise.
“It takes place very much in the universe that the video games created, but it’s a TV show. We get to expand that universe and create stories in it. There’s going to be some new characters that are introduced, there’s going to be a lot of familiar characters that everyone will know from the game.”
On March 24, Halo will launch on Paramount+. After the release of Halo Infinite in 2021, the new series will begin. So the series is knocking at the door. Fans have to wait a bit to experience this wonderful series. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
