Ed Sheeran has established himself as one of the most popular musicians in the modern era thanks to massive hits such as Shape Of You, Thinking Out Loud and more. He also has a very close relationship with music legend Sir Elton John.
The singer has also made a ton of money back in 2020 and it is highly likely he will make even more soon. Just like any other person, Ed Sheeran has a variety of interests outside of his own music.
Ed Sheeran has also acted in minor roles and cameos in a variety of TV shows and films, such as Game Of Thrones and most recently, Red Notice. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Ed Sheeran has joined the cast of the upcoming British action-comedy film Sumotherhood.
The film will mark the return of actor-writer-director and BAFTA Award-winner Adam Deacon, after a 10-year-long hiatus. Production for the film will begin in February in East London.
In addition to Sheeran, the film will feature Danny Sapani (Black Panther, Penny Dreadful), Jennifer Saunders (Sing, Death on the Nile), Peter Serafinowicz, Leomie Anderson, London Hughes, Kevin Bishop, Jaime Winstone, Vas Blackwood, and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. We will have to wait and see how Ed Sheeran will fare in the film.
