Mojo Rawley was released from WWE at the start of the pandemic, and then he got a terrible case of COVID-19. At the time he caught the virus, it was very new and it almost took his life. Now Mojo is opening up about his ordeal.

The former WWE Superstar logged onto Instagram and he announced that he is returning to pro wrestling after 19 months out of the ring. He caught COVID-19 and was hospitalized. Those lingering effects were also terrible and kept him down.

Mojo said that he could not train or put any extra pressure on his lungs, because it would suffocate him. He went through a lot, but he is still very hyped to announce his return.

It is unclear where Mojo Rawley will wrestle next. He was cut from WWE so that’s unlikely. You also never know where he could land, because Mojo’s connections with TMZ could provide some booker with great promotion.

It’s great to see that Mojo is doing better, but also incredibly scary that we almost lost him. You can check out the video below.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
