The Game is definitely one of the most recognizable rappers in the Hip-Hop world. He is highly successful but it wasn’t always that way for the rapper as he worked hard to bring himself up from poverty.
However, despite all his hard work, The Game is also a controversial figure in the Hip-Hop world. Last year, the rapper was sued for $12 million in a cryptocurrency lawsuit.
The Game recently took to Twitter and posted a very scathing rant on his former label, Interscope Records. A while after his rant, The Game’s account was made temporarily unavailable for violating the platform’s media policy.
F*** INTERSCOPE. I meant it when I said it 17 years ago & I mean it today !!!! They’re runnin a modern day slave trade & they steal from every single artist. Best decision of my life was parting ways. #StayIndependent.”
The reason behind the tweet is not known yet but his Twitter has been restricted since then. “@thegame’s account is temporarily unavailable because it violates the Twitter Media Policy,” it says on his account.
After signing with Interscope early in his career, The Game released his final album with the label, Jesus Piece, back in December 2012. It is not known whether the restriction is due to the tweet he made towards Interscope Records or not.
