Christian Rapper Gawvi Dropped From Record Label For Texting Unsolicited Photos Of His Junk

Christian producer and artist GAWVI is in a lot of trouble. The rapper has been dropped from Reach Records label after he was caught acting inappropriately. Allegedly the rapper was busted for sending explicit photos to women despite being married.

The rapper was also kicked off the forthcoming We Are Unashamed Tour. According to a press release, the founders of the record label found his values didn’t align with theirs. They mentioned that it was a tough decision to make.

The record label had comments disabled under their statement on Instagram. Many women came out to allege that GAWVI sent them explicit photographs with some being unsolicited. The Broward County native was reportedly busted for sending lewd photos to multiple women. while still married to Brianna Azucena.

This was a tough decision for us because of the level of complexity and because we invest in our artists not just for their talent, but also as brothers and sisters in Christ. This is something we have been processing for over a year and have wrestled with what would be the right way forward. New details that were provided made us realize today’s decision was necessary. We also want our actions to be a reflection of love, care, and concern for those who fail and those who are affected by our failures. Each of us needs God’s grace and we invite you to pray for the families and individuals whose lives are being impacted. This is not a chance to throw anybody away. We continue to hope for restoration to be the outcome.

GAWVI announced split with his wife in a since-deleted Instagram post months ago. He blamed compatibility issues and did not mention the lewd pics scandal. “There is no scandal to gossip about, just 2 adults that made decisions that lead to that point. And if you know me, you know I hate divorce and I’m not here to promote it.” the rapper said.

According to a tweet from a woman who goes by @cataphant on Twitter, there was surely a scandal. On January 29, she wrote, “Years ago I made album artwork for @gawvi. For my next project I’m going to make a collage of all the unasked for dick pics he sent to women while he was still married.” GAWVI and Azucena have two children together while GAWVI is co-parenting with his ex-wife.
