21 Savage has had plenty of headaches on social media throughout his career. A few of the more notable incidents have even gone viral. Nothing can top the story of the time Savage was arrested, though. It might seem strange to hide one’s Britishness from the public. 21 Savage had a good reason.
In 2019, 21 Savage was arrested by ICE in what was called a targeted operation. As it turns out, he kept his origins secret because he didn’t want to get deported. Rap TV brought the odd meme up today on Twitter, as it was the third anniversary of the exposure of 21 Savage as British. Fans hopped on with a brand new meme fest of their own.

Being exposed as a British citizen certainly beats some of 21 Savage’s other online criticisms. He’s been called a hypocrite by many. Some fans have referred to Savage as sexist. If there is one thing everyone agrees on, it’s that 21 Savage is consistent.
