Whoopi Goldberg has made headlines for all the wrong reasons recently. This is because she made some very insensitive remarks about the Holocaust on the View. It resulted in her getting suspended from The View for two weeks.
While she won’t be gone for long, her co-hosts aren’t happy about her forced hiatus regardless. Unsurprisingly, Whoopi Goldberg was blasted on social media for her remarks as well.
While speaking to TMZ, “Black-ish” star Anthony Anderson talked about Whoopi Goldberg’s controversial remarks. Anderson stated that he has only read Goldberg’s comments and doesn’t know the full context.
Despite that, he believes that they did not come from a bad place. He added that everyone says things in the heat of the moment that they aren’t knowledgeable about. Anderson added that as long a person can admit to being wrong and apologize, then it is fine and that she should be forgiven.
From the looks of it, Whoopi Goldberg has learned from her mistakes and will not be making it once again. It is likely she will choose her words carefully from now on.
