Ben Simmons Slid Into Shaquille O’Neal’s DMs After Recent Criticism

Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers have been at a stalemate all season. Simmons has refused to play after stating that he was uncomfortable with the team’s medical staff. Ben has claimed that he has received treatment on his own for mental health issues while going broke from fines and lack of game checks. The team has been trying to swing a deal to get some kind of return on Simmons.

Shaquille O’Neal has been an outspoken critic of the Simmons situation. The NBA legend must have got under Ben’s skin. Shaq recently revealed on his podcast that Ben Simmons has slid into his DMs over Big Diesel’s opinions.

“Let me tell you why I’m pissed off. Magic paved the way for Mike. They wasn’t making no money. Mike paved the way for me to get all that bread I was getting. I paved the way for Garnett. Ben Simmons’ messing the money up…

Shaq went on to say that Ben Simmons is acting like a baby. O’Neal doesn’t have anything further to say to the Philadelphia holdout. Shaquille thinks Ben should play the game.

The Sixers are still trying to salvage some kind of value for Ben Simmons. Philadelphia is currently sitting at 3rd place in the Eastern Conference. If they could get some return for Ben Simmons, the sky could be the limit for Joel Embiid and company.
