Adam Carolla Trends For All The Wrong Reasons After Controversial AOC Take

Adam Carolla was once a bedrock of American television. Carolla starred with Jimmy Kimmel on The Man Show. The comedian also gave sex, love, and dating advice with Dr. Drew on Loveline. Since then, Adam has mostly worked on smaller passion projects and kept his voice acting career thriving.

Last night, Carolla appeared on Fox News with Sean Hannity. During his spot, Adam made a very controversial comment about Congressperson Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The internet immediately jumped all over Adam Carolla, accusing him of being out of touch and misogynistic.

Carolla said that if AOC were “fat and in her sixties,” nobody would listen to her. The outrage was nearly immediate. Twitter began to savage Carolla the second the clip started going viral.

“A 57 year old man and a 60 year old man discuss how irrelevant they would find a woman if she was their age.”

“If she was round and green and wearing white thigh high go-go boots I would totally do her when Tucker was finished tho.”

“Remember when @adamcarolla said this? “They make you hire a certain # of chicks & they’re always the least funny on the writing staff.” Then he said this: “When you’re picking a basketball team, you’ll take the brother over the guy with the yarmulke.”

Adam Carolla is going to be facing some serious backlash for his bad take. The public might not agree with AOC politically, but this appears to have been nothing more than baseless gender bashing. We’ll see if Carolla gives any kind of response to the controversy.
