The bromance between Joe Burrow and Kid Cudi is growing by the day. On Sunday, January 30, the Bengals defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in a thrilling game, and Kid Cudi congratulated Joe Burrow on his victory. Joe Burrow recently presented Kid Cudi with an AFC Championship Game jersey.
The Joe Burrow and Kid Cudi are getting stronger because the Bengals quarterback just gave his childhood idol jersey he wore in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. After Cincy’s tremendous win on Sunday, Cudi said that he contacted Joey B and requested if he could have the game-worn clothing.
“Ok. So after the Bengals win against the Chiefs, I hit Joe and congratulated him and asked if I could have his jersey.”
And Burrow didn’t waste any time delivering on his pledge, shipped it to the Cleveland native just five days after the Bengals clinched their Super Bowl berth. After receiving the jersey Cudi was geeked out.
“Rockin’ this bitch to the game and then framing it. I am so geeked right now.”
Joe Cool is recognized for his on-field chemistry with teammate Ja’Marr Chase but lately, it’s been Cudi with whom Burrow has had the most success. Burrow and Franchise have a growing friendship that began when Burrow was taken with the first overall pick out of LSU and Joey Franchise’s latest gesture is confirmation of that.
After making it to the Super Bowl, Joe told reporters that he mentally prepares himself by listening to “New York City Rage Fest,” a song by Kid Cudi in each game. Burrow likes too many of Cudi’s tracks to choose a favorite.
Joe Burrow and Kid Cudi are encouraged because of each other. The brotherhood is growing stronger and hope to see it more stronger in the future. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
