Kobe Bryant will forever be remembered as one of the best basketball players to have ever stepped foot inside the world of professional basketball. It has been two years since the world lost Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna in a tragic helicopter crash and many people still have a hard time accepting his demise.
The late basketball legend’s wife Vanessa Bryant had filed a lawsuit against the helicopter company involved in the fatal crash that killed her husband and daughter. The lawsuit was also finally settled last year.
The metaverse and NFTs are all the rage in the world right now and it seems the Bryant estate is looking into the development of Web3 and the Metaverse. It was reported by the Boardroom on Twitter that Kobe’s estate has filed three trademarks for the Metaverse.
The trademarks are for “KOBE BRYANT,” “MAMBACITA,” and “MAMBA FOREVER.” These trademarks will apparently lead to virtual experiences where fans can interact with the likes of Kobe and his daughter Gianna.
Kobe Bryant will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends and fans and now it seems he will be a permanent part of the Metaverse as well.
