Onika Maraj-Petty, aka Nicki Minaj, is back with a new track. This morning, Lil Baby’s “Do We Have A Problem?” was released on DSPs. A music video directed by Benny Boom was also released on YouTube.
It has been four years since Nicki Minaj dropped the Queen album. Barbz fans have been waiting patiently for the rapper from Trinidad and Tobago to release a new full-length album.
Nicki Minaj spoke to Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe on the latest episode of New Music Daily about the release of the “Do We Have A Problem?” single. Minaj discussed her upcoming fifth studio album.
So the album is coming very soon, obviously. That’s why I started putting out music. Like I said before, from now on, every Friday, it will be called Pink Friday.
I do have a lot of surprises lined up for the fans leading up to the album, but we want to definitely get the album out there quickly. I will say that. I would like to give them a taste of a little bit more music before the album comes out, but we think that it’s time.
Nicki Minaj’s next album will follow Pink Friday from 2010, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded from 2012, The Pinkprint from 2014, and Queen from 2018. For the first time, Minaj made her 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty, available on streaming services last year.
