Cristiano Ronaldo has turned 37 years today. Despite his age, he has maintained the remarkable goal-scoring record since joining Manchester United from Juventus last summer, He has been chastised for his lack of match-work, with some questioning his suitability for interim boss Ralf Ragnick’s high-pressing style of play.
He still wants to make sure he has everything at home to help out his game. Earlier this year, The Sun reported that Ronaldo has installed a hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT) machine at his home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, in order to improve his fitness.
Ronaldo will supposedly be able to mend damaged tissue faster in the specifically built chamber by employing pure oxygen provided at a higher atmospheric level. In his latest Instagram video, the soccer sensation can be seen demonstrating his HBOT.
Recovery 🥶💪🏽
The Portugal star is said to have used the similar gadget to hasten his rehabilitation from a knee injury suffered in the Euro 2016 final against France. Ronaldo’s foes will have to take even greater gulps now that he’s invested in this high-tech oxygen chamber to keep up his incredible fitness.
Looks like he is going to fully utilize his $20,000 investment on the HBOT. Happy birthday, Champ!
