Kevin Hart Co-Producing New HBO Max Series About Rapping Grandfathers

There is no doubt that Kevin Hart is one of the most popular celebrities in Hollywood right now. His impeccable comedic timings continue to endear him to fans. It seems he is now producing a very interesting series as well.

On top of his on-screen roles in movies and TV shows, Kevin Hart also founded the SiriusXM network Laugh Out Loud Radio, which has a variety of comedic content from himself and fellow comedians.

As reported by Deadline, Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat production company is now spearheading the creation of a Hip Hop-themed animated series that will air on HBO Max at a later date.

The series is titled Storytown and features a troubled child and his grandfather who uses fairytale rap dignitaries to teach his grandson life lessons in how to navigate life in general.

Kevin Hart will be working with Michael Ratner’s OBB Pictures. The two previously collaborated to bring Kevin Hart’s Cold As Balls interview series to fruition for five seasons, so their success already has proof. We will have to wait and see how the new series will be received by fans.
