Kat Von D Victim Of Home Intruder Who Wanted To Use Her Bathroom

Katherine Von Drachenberg, aka Kat Von D, is a tattoo artist, model, entrepreneur, recording artist, and former reality television star. Sadly, she was also a victim recently.

Kat Von D had a terrifying night on Saturday, when an intruder wandered around her house while she and her son slept. Kat was sound sleeping at 10:15 p.m. when she was startled awake by a beam of light travelling around the house, according to TMZ.

Kat rushed out with her 3-year-old and dialed 911. Police arrived at the residence with sirens blasting and searched it… and what they discovered was frightening. Upstairs, a man in his thirties was just roaming about. It’s unknown whether he was aware that it was Kat’s home or what his motivations were.

He claimed he needed to use the bathroom because he was buying the house. The man was apprehended by police and charged with house burglary. He got in by jumping a fence, to be precise. It’s unclear whether he entered through an open door or window, but no traces of forced entry were found.

What’s more fascinating is that Kat recently listed her $15 million property for sale, so the claim that he was buying the house could have been something he saw… implying that he knew who owned the house.
