Lil Uzi Vert is currently one of the top rappers in the Hip-Hop world and there is simply no telling what he might do next. This is because the rapper has shown in the past just how unpredictable he can be. He also has a history with fellow rapper Soulja Boy.
Lil Uzi Vert also has a great relationship with fellow rapper Meek Mill as the two have worked together in the past as well. He also loves jewellery and loves to show off his wealth.
According to TMZ, the rapper took a plea deal in an assault case involving his ex-girlfriend and fellow rapper SAINt JHN. This way, he managed to avoid getting jail time. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated that the rapper pleaded no contest in court to one count each of felony assault with a firearm and misdemeanor injury to a girlfriend.
It was said that the rapper was sentenced to 3 years of formal probation, 1 year of treatment for mental health and substance abuse, 52 weeks of domestic violence counselling, restitution and a 10-year criminal protective order.
The rapper decided to take the plea deal after prosecutors charged him with 3 felonies, which were – assault with a firearm, criminal threats and domestic violence. In addition to that, he got a misdemeanor charge of carrying a loaded firearm.
The rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Brittany Byrd, filed a police report back in July claiming Uzi put a gun to her stomach and then hit her. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
