Sydney Sweeney Spotted In Super Revealing Outfit After Asking Euphoria To Cut Back On Skin Scenes

Sydney Sweeney rose to prominence as Emaline in the Netflix series Everything Sucks! and as Eden in the Hulu series The Handmaid’s Tale. She has been starring as Cassie Howard in the HBO teen drama series Euphoria since 2019. Sydney recently stepped out in a high-cut crop top in Los Angeles this week.

In a full-sleeved backless top that complemented her high-waisted khaki trousers, the 24-year-old channeled 1970s chic. She was seen climbing out of her TikTok-famous Mustang before enjoying frozen treats with a group of her friends. Sydney wore her signature blonde hair down and accessorized her look with a powder blue handbag that matched her car.

With a couple of necklaces and a subtle pair of earrings, the White Lotus actress added a touch of glitz to her look. Sydney was also seen filling up her car, a Ford Mustang convertible she introduced on TikTok as ‘my new baby Britney’ last May.

Her most recent appearance comes after she revealed that Euphoria creator Sam Levinson listened to her request for less nudity on season two of the hit show. Sydney, who plays Cassie on the award-winning HBO series, noticed ‘unnecessary’ topless scenes and asked that they be cut. Sweeney revealed it to Independent in a statement.

“Sam [Levinson] is amazing. There are moments where Cassie was supposed to be shirtless and I would tell Sam, ‘I don’t really think that’s necessary here.’ He was like, ‘OK, we don’t need it.'”

Sydney did take issue with viewers who did not take her performance seriously solely because of the show’s nude scenes.

“I’m very proud of my work in Euphoria. I thought it was a great performance. But no one talks about it because I got naked. I do The White Lotus and all of a sudden critics are paying attention. People are loving me.”

“They’re going, ‘Oh my God, what’s she doing next?’ I was like, ‘Did you not see that in Euphoria? Did you not see that in The Handmaid’s Tale?'”

“When a guy has a sex scene or shows his body, he still wins awards and gets praise. But the moment a girl does it, it’s completely different.”
