Columbus Short Denies Being Abusive After Recent Domestic Incident

Columbus makes headlines once again this time following his most recent arrest on Domestic Violence on Wednesday. The arrest which we reported earlier.

As we reported earlier, Short was arrested at his home in Cali over a verbal dispute with his wife, which eventually turned physical. He did make a claim that his wife hit him in the face but when cops checked nothing was to he found. However his wife suffered minor injury.

Short, 39, took to Instagram, where he released his own statement regarding this situation and apologized. Following is his statement.

“The Truth – Marriages are challenging but getting through it is the blessing!” he wrote in the caption to the clip. “I AM not a abusive man nor am I on drugs but drinking alcohol makes my mouth get a little out of pocket. That’s the truth. My wife and I are working on our marriage. The real work w/ @callmemrsshort.”

Whereas Short’s representative issued the following statement to TMZ;

“It is no secret that Mr. short has dealt with addiction issues in the past and like any addict it’s one day at a time. His family is his number one priority as he focuses on getting back on track with his sobriety.”
