Rihanna is expecting her first child with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky. After Rihanna came out in New York City with her baby belly on full display, People magazine broke the news. Rihanna confirmed the news with a photo on her Instagram account a few days later.

Messages of congratulations began to flood in, and the post’s comments area quickly filled up. However, one of those comments almost convinced followers that Rihanna is carrying twins. Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Gigi Hadid made the remark.

Hadid wrote “three angels” in the comments section, along with a crying emoji, a pleading face emoji, and a pink heart emoji, for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.

The supermodel and mother of one received over 23,000 likes on her comment. Many admirers assumed Rihanna was expecting twins because the initial photo simply showed her and her baby belly.

“Twins??” one comment read.

“Three?????” someone else questioned.

“GIRL WHAT U MEAN THREE,” another person chimed in.

“I’m probably reading wayyyy too much into it as usual,” a fourth comment pointed out.

Hadid later returned to the post to clear up any confusion. She had caught the word of this commotion and felt like she should calm it down. Hadid actually meant Rihanna, A$AP Rocky and the baby when she mentioned “three” and not twins. In any case, fans had their brief moment of excitement.
