Brett Favre is one of the most legendary quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. Favre was considered a gunslinger who brought an old-school mentality to a quickly-evolving league. The Green Bay Packers great has been largely quiet outside of some commercial endorsement work since his retirement.

Michael Vick was considered a revolution when he joined the Atlanta Falcons. Vick exhibited a combination of freak athleticism and a legit NFL arm to redefine what it meant to be a quarterback in the NFL. Mike had some legal trouble when he was convicted of being involved in a dogfighting ring. Vick served his time and eventually made it back into the good graces of the league.

The two are iconic players from a bygone era of the National Football League. That’s why fans are incredibly excited that Vick and Favre will be taking on a very contemporary opponent in a pre-Super Bowl flag football game. The quarterbacks will take part in a charity game between FaZe Clan and A.M.P. where each man will be the all-time QB for one of the teams, according to TMZ.

The combination of old-school football stars and modern esports is an interesting twist. There will be two generations tuning in to see their favorite stars. Each team will donate $25,000 to the youth sports cause of their choice.

FaZe will contribute to Snoop Dogg’s youth football league. It was not reported who A.M.P. will donate to. Nevertheless, it’s a great event for an awesome cause! The Rams and Bengals won’t be the only teams going at it in L.A.

Fans who want to see two NFL greats lace ’em up one last time will be thrilled to see Michael Vick and Brett Favre going at it. Esports fans and internet enthusiasts will also get to see some of their favorite personalities hit the gridiron. The game will take place on Saturday, February 12, at the Super Bowl Experience in Los Angeles.
