Netflix’s Daredevil series has been regarded as one of the best superhero shows of all time. Many fans believed it showed the most organic and authentic portrayal of Daredevil yet as Charlie Cox put on the performance of his career. It seems Charlie Cox hinted at huge things for his future in the MCU.
Just like all good things eventually come to an end, the same happened for Daredevil. The show ended after its third season on Netflix as the streaming platform stopped producing Marvel shows in general.
Since then fans wondered if fans would get to see Daredevil/Matt Murdock make his return. The rumors started spreading that Murdock could appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film last year. That is exactly what happened as Cox appeared as Matt Murdock during the early moments of the film.
While speaking with HeyUGuys, Charlie Cox talked about Matt Murdock’s No Way Home came. He then proceeded to talk about Daredevil’s future in the MCU, hinting at appearing in projects for the next 10 years.
“I think at this point, I expect to be involved in some capacity. Otherwise, it would be a bit of a weird one-scene moment. I don’t know much, I know a little, and what I do know I’m very excited about…there’s a chance it could be the next ten years of my life.”
Now that Charlie Cox is officially part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it remains to be seen when fans will get to see him in a full-fledged role somewhere down the line.
