Coi Leray is one of the most popular rising stars in the music industry today. She found fame with the release of her single “Huddy” in 2018. The 24-year-old is working on getting the visuals ready for her new single “Anxiety.” She is also not going to let haters run their mouths.
Leray recently took to Instagram to share two clips from the upcoming video song, which is slated for release Thursday (February 10). She also took the opportunity to clap back at music industry critics.
“They tried to knock me down but I always ended up back on top,” she captioned the post. “Being a young black female in this industry it’s tough, but I love what I do because I’m able to express myself freely.”
The track’s audio version was released debuted on the internet last month. Anxiety is the first single Leray’s debut album, which has yet to get a release date. Leray previously said her forthcoming debut would contain 18 tracks.
“My album gonna have 18 songs,” she wrote in the photo’s caption. The photo, a contribution to the viral money challenge instigated by NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk’s feud, featured dollar bills strewn all over Leray’s hardwood floors spelling out her nickname “Big Trendsetter.”
