Alexia Echevarria is used pulling in attention, but sometimes it’s for all the wrong reasons. She was smacked into controversy after son Peter Rosello was picked up on a domestic violence charge. It appears the case against Peter has reached a conclusion.
Page Six reported, the recent domestic violence case against Peter has been dismissed. Attorney Peter Heller told the outlet that after pre-file investigation of the case by State Attorney’s office, they reached a decision to not file charges against Peter Rosello.
Heller added, “There was no evidence to support allegations. The case was dismissed and is now closed.” A source close to the celebrity family added that they’re, “happy that Peter was vindicated by the justice system and they look forward to moving on.”
Last month, Peter was arrested and booked with a battery misdemeanor charge after his girlfriend alleged Peter kicked and slapped her during a domestic dispute. According to a police report, Rosello allegedly kneed the unnamed victim “in her crotch area, causing her to fall down to the ground. The defendant then kicked the victim once while she was on the ground.”
An eye-witness told the authorities that they saw Peter, “pull the victim inside of the apartment as she was trying to free herself from his grip.” It should be noted, this was not the first time Peter had a run-in with the law. Previously, he pleaded guilty to attacking a homeless man in 2012, striking a deal to keep him from behind bars. He was also arrested for marijuana possession in 2013.
