Lipa and Hadid, the younger brother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid, began dating in June 2019 and made their PDA-filled red carpet debut at the American Music Awards in November of same year. The two spilt up, but that won’t stop her drive.
After her separation with Anwar Hadid, Dua Lipa is devoting herself to her craft, according to a source who spoke exclusively to Page Six.
“Dua is laser-focused on work,” the source reported. “She has been preparing nonstop for her tour and working on her next album.”
After three postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Grammy winner’s Future Nostalgia Tour begins off Wednesday at the FTX Arena in Miami. Through mid-November, she will cover over 80 performances around North America, Europe, South America, and Australia.
“The show is very high-energy and has revitalized Dua and given her a sense of stability after all of her ups and downs with Anwar,” the source told Page Six.
Lipa’s representatives did not respond to a request for comment from Page Six. After more than two years of dating, Lipa, 26, and Hadid, 22, were reported to be taking a break from their romance and spending time apart in December. The “Levitating” singer and the model had not been spotted together in about two months prior to the revelation.
Dua Lipa spent the second half of last year in London and Los Angeles recording the much anticipated follow-up to her 2020 breakthrough album, “Future Nostalgia,” while Hadid remained in New York City. In any case, fans must be excited for the upcoming non-stop Dua Lipa tour.
