Eminem is one of the best-selling artists in music history. He easily has the biggest crossover success ever seen in rap. He enters the Spotify top 10 list again.
Marshall Mathers is storming the Spotify Daily Top Artists Global chart. He re-entered the Top 10 on February 7. The next day he is at No.9, overtaking Lin-Manuel Miranda.
According to Spotify daily data Eminem was at the end of the Top 10 most streamed artists on Spotify on Monday. Eminem had to show 16.8 million daily streams to his name to get there. A number of demons have led him to withdraw periodically, but he has always returned with mid-career rejuvenations like 2009’s Relapse or 2017’s Revival.
Days when artists showed up on the Top 10 with under 9 million streams are over. It is unlikely to ever come back. Eminem however is able to keep up with growing pressure.
Last month he also made his way into the Spotify Daily Chart. His numbers are growing without him dropping any new projects. This is why Eminem reached a new peak on the chart on Tuesday.
Marshall is ranked at No.9 at the moment.
