Quentin Tarantino Is Expecting Second Child With Wife Daniella Pick

Quentin Tarantino is undoubtedly, one of the greatest filmmakers of our time. Since his debut in film industry with Pulp Fiction (1994) he has changed the industry from the ground up. The movie made history has won major awards, eight to be exact.

The 58-year-old film director and wife Daniella are expecting their second child together this year, his representatives confirmed to the People.

The couple already has a child, son named Leo, who was born in February 2020. Tarantino met wife Daniella back when he was promoting his film Inglourious Basterds. Daniella, who daughter of Israeli singer-songwriter Tzvika Pick, got engaged in June 2017 and married in November 2018. Almost a decade later when they first met in 2009.

Last year on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show opened up about his personal life and his baby boy Leo. “We almost didn’t name him that because people would assume I named him after Leonardo DiCaprio” he said.

“There’s nothing wrong with that, but … he’s named after my wife’s grandfather, but also because, just in our hearts, he was our little lion” ,he continued to add, “So he’s a lion. That’s how we thought about him”

Tarantino presently resides in Tel Aviv with his family, teaching his son how to speak multiple languages. He said in Jimmy Kimmel interview:

“He’s talking — they’re not necessarily words, but he makes himself understood,” “He can only say one word and that is “abba,” which is the Hebrew word for “dada.” And a third of the time, he means me.

“I’m actually learning a lot with Leo, because he watches these baby TV [shows] and it’s all in Hebrew. I’m learning the Sesame Street version of Hebrew.”

Tarantino and Leonardo DiCaprio have worked together in Django Unchained and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. They seem to share a special friendship. Interestingly enough, his wife’s grandfather also shares the first name with the Titanic actor.
