Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong is certainly one of the most popular singers of all time. Recently, the singer suffered a great loss as he revealed that someone had stolen his beloved ‘62 Chevy Nova. Now it seems he has some good news to share.
The classic car that Armstrong called “near and dear” to his punk band’s “family” for three decades has now been discovered. The car was said to have been recovered in an unincorporated area of Orange County Tuesday night. This was more than 10 miles from where it was stolen sometime.
The singer took to his Instagram and uploaded a selfie where he was certainly ecstatic after getting back his prized possession.
FOUND MY CAR!!
False alarm.. turns out I forgot where I parked it… KIDDING! Truth is the person that stole it left it parked. Joy ride? Maybe.. who knows. We live in desperate times. Thank god It’s all in one piece. No damage. Thank you thank you to everyone that searched for my Chevy. 🙏🙏🙏.. love you all.
We are certainly glad to see Billie Joe Armstrong getting back what was his and hope nothing of this sort ever happens again.
