Gwen Stefani Has Fans Upset After Opening A Facebook Group

Gwen Stefani is ready to connect with her fans in a different way. She shared some major news with her fans, but some aren’t too happy about it.

During the first week of February, Stefani announced that she is trying something new on her Facebook page. She explained in an Instagram video, “I’m going to be doing an official fan group”. She continued, “Who knows, maybe I’ll put some exclusive stuff on there and maybe I’ll see you there too”.

“So excited that we’re launching an official fan group on facebook! click the link in my bio to join now and get a first look at content from my team & connect with other weirdozzzzz! see you in there!” the caption read. Some fans were undoubtedly excited about Stefani’s announcement. However, others felt differently. 

One user wrote, “Sad cause I don’t have Facebook…”. “NNOOOOOOOOOO! I dont have Facebook!!” another added. A third agreed “I don’t use Facebook”. “I deleted my Facebook. Too much drama!!” another fan commented.

This shouldn’t come as a complete shock. As according to Forbes, Facebook lost 500,000 daily users in the last three months of 2021. While fans without Facebook may be struggling to find a way to connect with the star through social media, Stefani is also trying to connect with people in person.

The sentiment of her fans echoed numerous times. Probably her new method to engage with people may not be what they’re looking for.
