Larsa Pippen Claims Scottie Pippen Punished Her When He Didn’t Get His Way

Larsa Pippen, Scottie Pippen’s estranged wife, is never short on words or controversy. This is no different as she is taking aim at her NBA great former significant other.

On the latest episode of Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa Pippen opened up about her divorce from Scottie Pippen. However, her version of details of their divorce seems a bit different from what her lawyer claimed recently.

According to Larsa’s lawyer, the divorce was “resolved amicably.”

Larsa and Scottie, married in 1997 and share four children together. The initial divorce was filed by Scottie back in 2016 but called it off; they both filed the divorce again in 2018.

Larsa spoke to costar Alexia Echevarria on Thursday’s new hour of the Peacock revival. When Echevarria asked Larsa how the proceedings were going, which was in reference to the ongoing process while she was filming for new season of RHOM in 2018. “I don’t even know what’s happening,” Larsa said.

“I was trying to force him to sell the house and once I started doing that, he was kind of like, ‘You have to send [14-year-old daughter Sophia] back to L.A.’ and I was like traumatized,”

“If he doesn’t get his way, his punishes me. He’s like the Punisher. I think Scottie’s used to controlling the narrative. This is like his last piece of control he’s got over me and the kids,” she continued. “He’s only punishing me because I’m making him sell the house. He’s pushing all the buttons to let me know I’m not in charge. I’m doing whatever the hell makes me happy.”

The 47-year-old Pippen pointed out, “So if dating someone younger makes me happy, I’m doing it,” as she was dating Malik Beasley, who is 22 years younger than her, in late 2020.

 “Which leads me to believe it’s a jealousy problem, that jealousy is the underlying issue,”

Larsa said, adding she never imagined a divorce 5 years ago.

It appears both exes, Scottie and Larsa are in much better place now. Pippen even claimed they are “best friends” now on an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” last week.

“We co-parent the same, love each other,” she added.

Larsa has dated a few famous athletes in her past; however she claims it’s not a preference as they are the ones who pursue her, she pointed out.

“I don’t necessarily like athletes. I don’t necessarily need to be with one type of person. I do like guys who are bosses,” “I’ve dated athletes in the past because that’s kind of like my comfort zone, I’m used to that lifestyle. Do I really want to date an athlete, probably not, but that’s what I’m used to.”

When Larsa and her young date first hooked up, Malik was still married. This led to drama on social media. In the episode, the producer was heard asking camera, to remind viewers what Timberwolves star Malik was known for; “He’s known for being in my past. He’s so far back behind me I don’t even want to look back, it might ruin my hair.” she replied.

Larsa also claimed Malik pursued her “relentlessly” even after they had ended it.
