Tyrese Gibson Heartbroken After Receiving Update From His Mother’s Physician

Tyrese Gibson has been going through quite a tough time since his mother was admitted to hospital. A recent update was not a good one at all.

Tyrese Gibson is still not giving up hope as his mother remains in ICU after she was diagnosed with Covid-19 and Pneumonia. He made an unfortunate announcement on Instagram last Saturday (Feb. 5) when he revealed his mom has been fighting for her life for a week.

“This has been going on all week. I haven’t posted.” He said.

The Fast and Furious actor explained in a lengthy emotional post about this ordeal, his mother, Priscilla Murray, is in coma fighting between life and death. With him in following posts urging his fans to pray for her.

The 43-year-old actor took to Instagram on Wednesday as well, sharing a heartbreaking update on his situation. He shared a photo of him right across the hallway outside his mom’s ICU room. “The Doctor sat in this chair and just broke my heart by telling me there’s pretty much nothing else that can be done to turn things around,” he said.

Tyrese yet again leaned on faith as doctors told him nothing can be done to improve his mother’s health. He still looks pretty hopeful, clinging for a miracle to happen. However, he seems to have reacted to the update very optimistically;

“I paused, and in my most sincere voice I asked him…. You ever heard of a man name Jesus Christ? Nothing is impossible for him…… Ha paused and couldn’t respond…!!” he wrote

Later in second post, the Roman Pearce depicter in “Fast and Furious” posted a photo of him by his mother’s bedside with a caption that read, “Keep fighting mother………Please mother, we need You.”

Fans and celebrities alike went on to show Tyrese emotional support during these nightmarish times, including La La Anthony, Shaunie O’Neal, Busta Rhymes, Musiq Soulchild and Swizz Beatz.
