Tekashi 6ix9ine is one of the most notorious rappers in the game. While he’s been sitting quietly since a while, fans are starting to wonder when the rapper is going to bump up his energy. It turns out that he has the perfect manager to start with his notoriety once again.
Wack 100 revealed in an interview with Complex that he is currently Tekashi 6ix9ine’s official manager. He said that while he initially started off in a “business partner situation,” he ended up having the full control on the management side of things.
100 added that Create Music Group & 10K it’s still the label for the artist. His role is to handle the management and make sure that everything is done and rolled out right.
I got full control and say. It started off as a business partner situation, but I’m over his next project. He’s still signed to Create Music Group and 10K, that’s his label. I’m taking the reins on the management side to make sure everything is right, and the rollout is right. What he gets with me is a guy answering his phone calls and emails. He gets a guy that makes sure his marketing is right, his radio is right, his pub is right, his splits are right. And he gets the resources I have to open those doors up that may have been closed on him.
6ix9ine’s deal with the feds has forced him into a period of silence. It’s been around two years since the rapper has made much of a noise at all. His latest project came out in October, which was announcing and advertising for his own NFTs pricing at hundreds of dollars for one.
The rapper announced that the profits made from these NFTS would go directly to certain charities. While it was in the beginning considered a fan based project where his NFTs would be depicted as a cartoonish version of him, it is unclear how are the NFTs fan based or interactive. Regardless, fans want new music from him, and getting a new manager might just lead to that.
