Astroworld Victims’ Relatives Go Off On Kanye West For Demanding Apology From Billie Eilish

The Astroworld tragedy where fans died, with many getting injured after a crowd surge at a concert, November of last year. Which eventually led to Travis Scott facing billions of dollars in lawsuits. Scott was also snubbed out of the Coachella lineup, and Ye has been trying to get him on board since.

Very recently, Kanye West demanded an apology from Billie Eilish and threatened to pull out of Coachella if she didn’t apologize to Travis Scott. Billie Eilish had stopped her concert to help a fan who needed an inhaler. In videos of the concert viral on social media, she is seen asking her team to fetch an inhaler and waiting to make sure the concertgoer was alright.

This event triggered Kanye West as he thought Billie was taking jabs at Travis since Billie said on her stage, “We’re taking care of our people. I’m waiting for people to be OK until I keep going,”

Erza Blount was a 9-year-old who died in the Astroworld tragedy. The grandparents of the late victim had few choices of words for Kanye. “To hear Kanye’s words, that’s hurtful to us. What an idiotic thing to say,” said the grandfather of late Erza Blount.

Tericia Blount, Ezra’s grandmother, was also incredibly outraged at West calling out Eilish.

“I think it’s just crazy, and I hate to use that word, but I think it’s ridiculous,” 

“She’s making sure that she is caring for the patrons at her concert, and I just think that’s crazy of Kanye to even let that demand come out of his mouth.” said Tericia

As reported by Rolling Stone, Bernon Blount, grandfather of the late victim, told them,

“That’s crazy that he wants someone to apologize for putting the welfare of someone else before their profits. That’s someone who needed their asthma pump. They could have lost their life, right then. This world is twisted, and we have to stop doing this,”

Grandmother of late 9-year-old continued as she praised Billie;

“I totally commend Billie Eilish for having that decency about her,” 

“I think what she did was wonderful, and I would love to tell her myself how brilliant and awesome she is for doing so.”

Travis Scott who shares two children with Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner, and Donda, 44, rapper seems to always look out for him. It’s evident that they share an incredible bond as Travis was the one who helped Kanye know the place where Ye’s daughter North’s birthday party was being held after Kim allegedly kidnapped her.
