Adele has been on the news lately after her relationship problems with Rich Paul came to light. She was surrounded by controversy after she cancelled her residency in Las Vegas due to relationship issues. However, it appears it’s all well and good between the couple and they might be planning to extend their family.
On Friday Night, Adele made an appearance on BBC One series, The Graham Norton Show. During the length of the talk show, the singer spoke out on controversy surrounding her cancelled Las Vegas residency as well as her plans for more children.
The singer promised the scheduled concerts for 2022 will take place as planned as she plans to have a baby next year with her boyfriend Rich Paul. Adele flashed a diamond ring while she remained coy when asked by Graham if it meant she is engaged. The singer said, ‘If I was would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t?’
Adele teased that she might be having a baby next year when Graham asked the singer what happened in Las Vegas. Last month the star tearfully told fans she could not go ahead with the residency less than a day before her scheduled debut show at Caesars Palace. On the show, she admitted her ‘regret’ at the last minute announcement as she insists it would have been a ‘half-a**ed show,’ if she had gone ahead.
‘People will see straight through me up on the stage and know I didn’t want to be doing it. I’ve never done anything like that in my life and I’m not going to start now.’
‘We are now working our arses off, but I don’t want to announce a new set of dates until I know everything will definitely be ready. The sooner I can announce the better, but I just can’t in case we are not ready in time.’
‘It is absolutely 100% happening this year. It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year. Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby’
Meanwhile, the singer beat hotly tipped contender Ed Sheeran in the Artist Of The Year category at the BRIT Awards. During her acceptance speech, she hit back at the “woke” awards after it decided to go with gender neutral categories.
