Kendrick Lamar started rising to prominence since his debut album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, in 2012. He is undoubtedly one of the best artists of our generation. Compton, California rapper, has won 13 Grammy Awards and has many other Accolades under his iconic name. All those accolades did not go unnoticed.
Eminem and Kendrick Lamar, alongside other hip-hop legends, will hit the stage for Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show on Sunday. Ahead of performance at the show, Em had a conversation with Sway Calloway on SiriusXM’s Shade 45, where he talked about fellow superstar Kendrick Lamar.
Sway asked Eminem, “Kendrick, to me, is the most electrifying vocalist of this generation. Would you agree with that?” To which Eminem replied, “I absolutely would agree.” Em, went on to add, “Kendrick is at the very top, top tier of lyricists, not just this generation but of all time.”
Elsewhere in the conversation with Sway, Detroit rapper also admitted to being nervous about his upcoming Super Bowl performance, as we reported in detail earlier.
Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige are among the Hip-Hop legends set to perform on Sunday’s (13 Feb) halftime show.
