Kim Kardashian Called Out For Darkening Her Skin In New Photo Shoot

Kim Kardashian has been making headlines for being in the cover of Vogue magazine. However, not all the attention is positive. The reality star is now being called out for blackfishing in the photoshoot.

This all started after Vogue revealed photos from Kim’s photoshoot on Wednesday morning. In the photos, Kim donned a serious expression as she posed in a tight-fitting ensemble on the cover of the magazine. The reality star looked stunning as she wore her hair in a detailed bun and flashed her bare shoulders at the camera.

However, fans were quick to notice something else about her photos. They immediately took to Reddit to call out Kim for darkening her skin them. Alongside photos that showed Kim with her lighter, more natural skin tone and her darker tan in the photoshoot, the initial Reddit user wrote: “Here we see Kim’s original skin colour, Kim with a tan and Kim blackfishing.”

Many agreed that Kim was guilty of blackfishing, as another person said that she looked “way too tan.” A third chimed in by saying, “This is not even her normal skin tone.” Another critic called out the director of photography, wondering why they thought darkening Kim’s tan was “a good idea.”

This is not the first time the Kardashians have been accused of blackfishing. Last October, Kim’s little sister Kylie Jenner was called out by fans online for her overly tanned complexion. Previously, Kim also addressed claims of Blackfishing over her past hairstyle choices saying she would never do anything to appropriate any culture within her style.

Kim Kardashian is half Armenian so it’s actually not very odd for her skin to look a little darker. Sometimes fans go a little too far with the blackfishing accusation. Although Kim has been accused of darkening her skin previously, this time it looks like a little tan.
