Twitter has been experiencing significant issues throughout the day today. Several users around the world have reported outages for both the desktop website and mobile app version of the social media network. Many screen-addicted folks are currently in a panic.
DownDetector.com shows that reports of technical issues with Twitter began at around noon on February 11. Many users have reported tweets not loading or an inability to post a tweet. Several users are receiving error messages when they try to do anything.
The site has received reports of outages across all of Twitter’s tools and apps. Over 25,000 reports have been received. The error message isn’t much help.
“Something went wrong, but don’t fret — it’s not your fault. Let’s try again.”
When users click refresh, they are receiving the same message or nothing is happening. There is clearly some sort of network issue with the tech giant. It is not known when service will be restored.
Productivity in workplaces will likely increase as Twitter users put down their phones and get some work done. It will be tough to follow the world’s ever-changing news and entertainment topics for a while longer. Hopefully Twitter is restored soon.
