Rihanna was already a fashion icon before she announced her pregnancy to the world, but now that she’s a mother, her style has reached new heights, and the internet can’t get enough of it. RiRi is taking not a single day off.
When Rihanna and boyfriend A$AP Rocky announced that they are expecting their first child together, the two hit the streets of New York City in iconic outfits. The ANTI singer wore a vintage 1996 Chanel pink puffer coat that will be remembered, while her man kept us guessing with blue tones incorporated into his look.
What’s so motivating about Rihanna’s maternity style thus far, according to Vogue, is that it feels so natural to who she is. All that’s changed is that she now has a gorgeous baby bulge to utilize as an accessory.
Making small tweaks to her style, rather than surrendering to a market of comfy, bump-friendly clothes, most likely makes Rihanna feel like herself at a life-changing moment, which is arguably worth all the Prada scarves money can buy.
Every time she comes out with a new outfit of the day, the Fenty founder continues to trend on a near-daily basis. She most recently wore a huge patchwork fur coat over a little top, once again bearing her belly, on her way out supper, offering up Joe Exotic chic.
