Odell Beckham Jr. hit the field today before the Super Bowl by rocking a custom pair of $200k cleats that have diamonds in them. After all, his contract can afford that kind of luxury and this was quite an occasion.
The Rams star teamed up with Dominic Ciambrone, also known as “The Shoe Surgeon,” in L.A to create the most expensive shoes for the big Sunday night.
According to TMZ, Odells 1-of-1 cleats feature yellow gold and a total of 1494 brilliant white diamonds on the Nike sign. According to shoemaker, they linked up when he made shoes for one of the Odell’s teammates, Jalen Ramsey.
“I was making cleats for Jalen and a few other guys,” Dominic said. “But this year Jalen hit me … game one of the playoffs and then Odell hit me.” “We just knew we were going to work together. And it just happened to be on the biggest stage for the sport.”
The like this requires about 3 to 5 months to complete. However, Shoe Surgeon Dominic spent over 100 man-hours working on the shoes to prepare them for the big game day.
