Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals came up just short in last night’s Super Bowl LVI. Aaron Donald, Von Miller, and the Los Angeles Rams pass rush was simply too much to overcome. Burrow kept his team in it until the final seconds, and he should be able to hold his head up proudly after his team’s incredible turnaround.
Burrow hit on 22 of 33 passes for 263 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the rock 15 times for 72 yards. Unfortunately, Matthew Stafford and the Rams wound up getting the last laugh, despite Stafford throwing two interceptions.
Burrow’s girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher, is still proud of her man’s achievements. On her Instagram Story, Olivia made a brief post-game statement. Joe lost the Super Bowl, but he has nothing to be ashamed of.
“Still beyond proud.”
Joe and Olivia met while Burrow was still attending Ohio State University. Holzmacher stayed by his side when he transferred to LSU, where he won the national championship and a Heisman Trophy. Joe is still hoping to add a Lombardi Trophy to that list of hardware.
Joe Burrow stood toe to toe with one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL. It didn’t work out this year, but Joe has plenty of football ahead of him. Olivia Holzmacher plans to be there for it all.
