The iconic performance at Super Bowl LVI by hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige was quite something. It sent waves throughout the world. The Game, however, felt left out.
The California rapper said he should have been up there with Dr. Dre instead of 50 Cent. He certainly didn’t like that he wasn’t invited to perform. The appearance that 50 Cent made was a surprise cameo that the Game feels belonged to him.
The Game made a post on Instagram reposting a few Instagram stories to his account after the halftime show. “FYI: [The Game] should’ve been on stage at the Super Bowl,” I’ll be first to say it.” said @_kingrell. The Game replied, “Sh*t brazy fr” to the story.
Another IG story that Game reposted read: “[The Game] should have performed at [the] Super Bowl with @DrDre. I mean, this is LA.” The Game made another post expressing that as well.
The Game certainly does have a point; he was one of the prominent west-coast rappers in the early 2000s, and with the Superbowl that was happening in his state, he felt neglected. But this might also come from him envying 50 Cent, given their 12-year-old long-standing feud.
